The Marketing Portal: Your App for Almost Anything.

Posted by Mark Sarpa on

At Progressive Solutions, to help serve our customers’ marketing needs, we began creating web-to-print (W2P) portals at least a decade before they actually came to be known as W2P portals.

Now, it would appear most marketing organizations have some grasp of what the term means. However, as we pointed out in our article, “Insane Inefficiency in Print Procurement Remains the Norm,” with digital print expert Jennifer Matt, a stunning majority of marketing organizations continue burning money by procuring print with old fashioned processes.

As a result of championing the W2P cause for two decades now, and speaking out on the subject often, we field a good number of questions. Amongst them, is the radically simple question…

What should we put on our marketing portal?

The answer’s awfully simple as well…

"Everything—and anything.

Finally, it occurred to us to create a list of practical items to put on your online marketing portal. As you’re about to see, practically anything anyone in your sales and marketing loop could use, made our list.

An online marketing portal eliminates an immense amount of administration and thereby allows the marketing professionals in your company to remain focused on creating strategies and deploying new programs designed to generate sales.

The people who use the portal will love it too because it makes everything from print procurement to promotional campaigns to billing easier to execute and far more productive.

If you haven’t yet looked into creating a W2P marketing portal, now is the time do so.

If you do take advantage of W2P technology to increase the efficiency of your marketing programs, we encourage you to share your experiences with us here.
